When you upload an image to the Tail API (including the “try it” demo), you confirm and agree to the following:

1. You have the right to share it. You either own the image or have permission from the rights holder to submit it.
2. You grant Tail a license to process and store it for the purpose of resolving and identifying the aircraft, improving resolution accuracy, and operating the service.
3. Provenance is recorded. We store the time, source, a hashed identifier of the uploading device/network, your declared rights, and this terms version — so every image has a clear consent trail.
4. We respect source licensing in what we return. Evidence images we surface honor their original license and attribution; we never expose private or internal-only third-party images.
5. No unlawful or infringing content. Don’t upload images you aren’t allowed to share.
